Ecological consciousness is in our DNA. We are living a global crisis of plastic pollution, which is now directly affecting our lives and that is why it is our responsibility to deal with it.

Because together, we can bring about change. At Mikel we participate, in our own unique way, in protecting the environment and minimizing our environmental footprint.

Out of respect for the environment, for years Mikel has not used plastic cups to serve our customers. The next step comes with a very important day for all of us, completing our glass, which now also consists of the new eco friendly paper award-winning lid – a pan-European innovation, as well as the paper straw.

Thus, we offer the possibility to the consumer not to have to separate the pieces of the package and to recycle the product in the special bins.

This means that we no longer need to separate the pieces of the packaging to throw them in the bin, since we have a 100% recyclable glass.

The company received the Silver Award in the category Best Social Media Strategy for CSR, regarding its online presence with “Blending a Better Tomorrow”.
