Zero Waste Awards 2025

We are thrilled to announce our success at the HORECA 2025 exhibition!

A total of 11 businesses—members of the Zero Waste HORECA Network—were awarded cash prizes, with Mikel Coffee Company standing out among them. We proudly received two awards in this year’s ceremony: Gold & Bronze Zero Waste Distinctions.

In a special event held on February 8, 2025, as part of the HORECA Greece 2025 Expo, the ZERO WASTE HORECA Distinctions were awarded for the third consecutive year. These distinctions recognize the effectiveness and sustainable innovation of businesses participating in the ZERO WASTE HORECA program. The program is implemented by the Ecological Recycling Society, funded by The Coca-Cola Foundation, and operates under the auspices of the Ministry of Environment and Energy.

In 2024, 210 businesses earned Gold, Silver, or Bronze ZERO WASTE HORECA Distinctions for their commitment to reducing their overall environmental footprint.
